Reflection

Through this lecture, I learned about different artistic styles such as Realism, Surrealism, and Dadaism. I used to think that art was mainly about expressing beauty, but I’ve come to realize that it actually has many schools of thought. Art can also reflect inner thoughts, dreams, and even serve as a form of social commentary. Among them, I’m especially drawn to Surrealism for its rich imagination. It showed me that art doesn’t always have to follow logic — it can be free and expressive. This knowledge gave me a new perspective on art and inspired me to explore different styles in my own creative work.
